Tule
Lake Committee has always tried to include everyone who wants to learn
about the camps, history, and Japanese-American legacy. We are an
all-volunteer group, and our prices are based on bare minimum expenses.
Still, there are people that need financial assistance. Please
consider adding a donation to your registration fee, to help defer
the cost of those unable to pay. Once scholarships are filled, your
donation might be used to pay performers, print outreach materials,
or buy insurance for everyone's safety during the Pilgrimage. Your
donation will enrich the experience for someone else, and ensure that
the legacy of Tule Lake is passed on to as many people as possible.
Thank you very much, arigato gozaimasu.
Donations
are tax-deductible.
Our tax ID # is: 94-2699521.

The Tule
Lake Committee is committed to making the Pilgrimage accessible to everyone.
For this reason, we have a limited number of scholarships available.
If you would like to apply for a scholarship, download the application
form below. The deadline for scholarship requests is April 1, 2010 and we will try to notify applicants by April 15, 2010.
Education
and understanding has always been a goal of the Pilgrimage. Whether
or not you can pay, we want your input and enthusiasm, so we have established
a Scholarship Fund. It is open to students, elderly, fixed income individuals,
and anyone else who needs financial assistance to attend the Pilgrimage.
The pilgrimage
committee is fundraising for the program and scholarships. As there
are limited funds, we encourage you to consider fundraising for yourself
as well! Since the pilgrimage is not only a very personal journey for
many who come, but also a important community event, consider asking
friends and family to support your trip by making a contribution!
The following is a few items on the registration form:
- Why
you want to attend the Pilgrimage this year.
- How
much money, if any, you can contribute.
- How
you can contribute (non-financially). For example, volunteering before,
during, or after the Pilgrimage, in-kind donation, outreach/teaching
about the Pilgrimage at your school or community organization, etc.
For scholarship forms and information please contact Craig Matsuzaki at craig.akio.matsuzaki@gmail.com or by phone at (510) 418-3694.
Scholarship Forms must be submitted by April 1, 2010.

you!! |
